*FREE* Easter Egg Hunt at Artegon Marketplace Orlando

Easter Egg Hunt at The Village at Artegon Marketplace April 4HUNT THE VILLAGE AT ARTEGON MARKETPLACE – SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 12 NOON – 5:00 P.M.

Hop on over to Artegon Marketplace Orlando for a FREE family fun event. Hunt for Easter eggs scattered throughout the artisan village and in surrounding stores — some containing prizes from Artegon merchants. Visit with the Easter Bunny in the Great Hall and make a custom flipbook (between 1-4 p.m., free while supplies last). Register at guest services to win an Artegon Easter basket filled with merchant prizes, and take home festive Easter balloon animals.

Summer is here!

The summer is here! It is so hard to believe. Are you looking for great FREE (or *almost* free) activities to keep your kids happy & still learning? Here are 10 different ideas worth looking into.

  • Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics – This year, Lowe’s has partnered with Dreamworks Studios. Crafts are offered every 2nd & 4th Saturdays & are totally FREE! June features “How to Train Your Dragon 2”. July features crafts inspired from “Turbo”. August will have crafts from “Monsters VS. Aliens”. Sign ups are usually a few weeks before each clinic.
  • Michael’s Passport to Imagination – Michael’s is offering their summer program once again. This year, they explore 7 museums with fun crafts. Two hour classes are offered 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday & Fridays for $2/class.
  • Local library – Most local libraries have fun summer programs with great reading incentives! Check with your local library for more!
  • Summer Learning Adventures at Education.com – Education.com has put together a great 10 week d.i.y. summer camp at home! Did I mention this is FREE? Every week has a fun summer theme & great projects to keep little ones busy busy busy thruout the day.  Be sure to check this out.
  • HomeSchool Share : Summer School  Math – HomeSchoolShare has put together more than  40 different math printables to keep your little learner on top of their math over the summer. They range from lower elementary-middle school. And, once again, they are FREE 🙂
  • TenMarks – Summer Math Program – 20 minutes/3 days a week is all it takes to brush up on math skills. Normally a $40/student program, TenMarks is offering this for FREE! An email will also be sent to you charting your child’s progress.
  • Regal Entertainment Summer Movie Express – Who doesn’t love $1 movies? Fun kid movies at a great price = an awesome summer treat! Movies are shown Tuesdays & Wednesdays starting at 10am. Two different movies are offered each week.
  • AMF Bowling FREE Summer Games – Sign up for this great free summer program. Kids(up to age 15) receive 3 FREE games/day. Shoe rental is not included.
  • Homeschool Share Monthly Calendar – HSS provides a calendar every month with great DAILY activities or ideas to learn about. Every month a new calendar is posted on the blog. Did you know that June 18th is International Picnic Day? Help make your days count!
